Yarra Yering Carrodus Chardonnay comes from a small but impressive planting of the Burgundian Clone 95 Chardonnay. It is highly regarded for producing elegant wines.

The fruit is handpicked, chilled overnight and whole bunch pressed. The juice is run directly to one 600 litre barrel and inoculated with a specific yeast. For 10 months, the wine is left mostly untouched on its yeast lees prior to clarification and bottling.

Very pale straw, Yarra Yering Carrodus Chardonnay is a pure expression of fruit, energetic and refreshing with a chalky finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
